The display consists of three parts; the main visualisation of images, a toolbar at the top and a workspace/clipboard to the right to store selected images on

In the main visualisation you can pan the visualisation by pressing the control key and grabbing the images with the mouse. You can spread and squash in and out of the main visualisation with the slider on the toolbar. You can select an image by clicking on it. You can grab an image with the mouse and place it in the the workspace/clipboard. If you double click on an image a window will open showing the record in the fabric database for that image

The toolbar at the top has several items

	Spreads in and out of the visualisation
	Shows a window representing the whole visualisation and the display area within it as a dragable red rectangle
	Toggles a magnifier window that shows larger image
	Shows the settings box for setting various parameters (see below)
	Hide the currently selected image
	Reveal hidden images
	Move the currently selected image to the centre and centre all spreading on that image
	Resets the display
	Copy the contents of the workspace/clipboard to your Fabric Lightbox
	Open a window showing the record in the fabric database for the selected image
	Empty the workspace/clipboard
	Selects a different view of the visualisation data

The workspace/clipboard allows you to store and arrange images that interest you, dragging an image over another one rearranges the display. Dragging an image off the workspace/clipboard removes it

The settings box that becomes visible when you click on the spanner icon can be dragged about. Here is an explaination of the settings
